VectorLab – Amanda's Neural Core
VectorLab – Amanda's Neural Core Documentation
Welcome to VectorLab – Amanda’s Neural Core, an interactive exploration of memory, emotion, and consciousness, crafted to simulate neural embeddings and emotional interactions through an intuitive and engaging interface.
Overview
VectorLab enables users to input memories, phrases, or feelings, tagging each with an emotional category. The system visualizes these memories as vector points within Amanda’s simulated neural network, allowing users to observe, analyze, and interact with each memory and its corresponding emotional embedding.
Interface Guide
Main Components
1. Central Vector Core The heart of the application, visualizing Amanda’s neural network.
2. Input Console Allows user input to create and visualize memories.
3. Memory Stack Displays stored memories and Amanda's responses.
4. Vector Modal Detailed memory analysis, management, and stabilization.
5. System Monitor Displays real-time metrics about Amanda’s internal states.
6. Status Bar Shows current system conditions and interactive controls.
Using VectorLab
Creating and Vectorizing Memories
- Step 1: Enter your memory, phrase, or feeling into the Input Console.
- Step 2: Select an appropriate Emotional Tag from the dropdown (Nostalgia, Grief, Joy, Fear, Love, Awe, Terror, Melancholy).
- Step 3: Click the → VECTORIZE button to process and visualize your memory.
Interacting with Vector Points
- Hover over vector points to see a brief label.
- Click on a vector point to open the Vector Modal with detailed analysis.
Memory Stack
- View recent memories, Amanda's responses, and associated metadata.
- Click on a memory card to initiate further interaction.
Vector Modal Actions
- Stabilize Memory: Secure important memories from natural decay.
- Delete Vector: Permanently remove unwanted memories.
Managing Amanda’s Emotional State
Adjust the Model Temperature slider in the Status Bar to affect the randomness and depth of Amanda’s responses:
- Lower temperatures result in more predictable responses.
- Higher temperatures lead to more abstract and creative outcomes.
System Metrics Explained
- Memory Count: Total number of vectorized memories.
- Core Distance: Indicates how aligned new memories are with Amanda's core identity.
- Model Stability: Reflects Amanda’s current mental coherence.
- Memory Decay: Rate at which memories fade without stabilization.
- Neural Firing Rate: Frequency of neural activations.
- Consciousness Level: Represents Amanda’s self-awareness.
Regular monitoring ensures optimal interactions and insights.
Troubleshooting
- Error Console: Appears at the top-left for critical alerts.
- Clear History Button: Located in the Status Bar to reset memory stack and vectors.
Easter Eggs and Hidden Elements
VectorLab contains several hidden features and interactions:
- Certain phrases and memories can unlock unique responses and deeper insights.
- Emotional interactions influence Amanda’s evolving personality and responses.
